Dr. Dino Elyassnia is a board certified plastic surgeon serving San Francisco and the surrounding bay area including Marin Country, Walnut Creek, Oakland, San Mateo, and San Jose. His practice focuses on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body and he is fellowship trained in this specific area of plastic surgery. He is on staff at St. Francis Memorial Medical Center, California Pacific Medical Center, and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Elyassnia comes from a family of surgeons and knew at an early age that this would be his calling. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Biology Outstanding Achievement Award given to the top student in the entire department. Dr. Elyassnia went on to obtain his medical degree at the USC School of Medicine. He graduated in the top 1% of his class and scored in the top 1% nationally on the medical licensing exam. While in medical school his interest in plastic surgery blossomed. His achievements at USC allowed him to obtain an appointment to the combined general surgery and plastic surgery training program at the University of California San Francisco, one of the most sought after positions in the country. At UCSF, Dr. Elyassnia received a broad education in plastic and reconstructive surgery and learned directly from many leaders in the field. To further develop his interest in cosmetic surgery, he pursued subspecialty training with the best plastic surgeons in Manhattan. There he completed an Aesthetic Fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, home to arguably the busiest fellowship clinic in the country. This is one of only a handful of highly competitive cosmetic surgery fellowships in the United States. Few plastic surgeons complete additional training, such as this, dedicated to aesthetic surgery.
Today Dr. Elyassnia practices the full spectrum of plastic surgery in San Francisco while maintaining a focus on cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Elyassnia is a caring individual who is in constant pursuit of perfection and takes great pride in his work.
